Inside, the Chairman of the Azure Yuan Merchant Guild, Liu Qingyi, was deep in conversation with a grey-robed elder beside her.    

Upon Xu Fei and Peter Parker's arrival, the pair halted their discussion, their attention shifting to Peter.    

"Chairman, I've discussed the potential partnership with Peter Parker. He has a condition that requires your input, so I've brought him to you," Xu Fei said, greeting Liu Qingyi with a respectful gesture.    

Liu Qingyi offered a slight nod, then turned to Peter Parker with a warm smile. "Peter, Elder Xu speaks of you often. It's an honor to finally meet you. On behalf of Green Yuan Enterprise, I want to thank you for escorting Elder Xu back to our headquarters."    

"It was a trivial matter," Peter Parker dismissed with a wave of his hand, eager to proceed. "Chairman Liu, let's focus on the matter at hand."    

"Very well, since you're one for directness, I'll get straight to the point," Liu Qingyi replied, not one to dawdle. "What is your condition, Peter?"    

With a composed demeanor, Peter Parker stated, "My only condition is to have the first pick from the Immortal's Remains."    

Hearing this, Liu Qingyi's brow furrowed with concern.    

"President, that's not acceptable!"    

The grey-robed elder couldn't contain himself, breaking the silence before Liu Qingyi could respond.    

This time, they were delving into the remnants of Daoist Tian Yu's legacy. But who exactly was Daoist Tian Yu? After pondering for a moment, Peter Parker replied, "If Daoist Tian Yu's ruins indeed conceal the secret to immortality, we can share that knowledge. I'll simply choose a different item first."    

The secret to immortality was not something the Green Yuan Chamber of Commerce, nor the Green Yuan Sect backing it, would relinquish without a fight.    

Truth be told, Peter Parker's initial interest wasn't in the secret to immortality. Yet, even though he wasn't a cultivator from the Immortal Breaking Universe, the allure of uncovering such a secret in Daoist Tian Yu's ruins was undeniable.    

Hearing Peter's proposal, Liu Qingyi breathed a sigh of relief. As long as he wasn't intent on monopolizing the path to immortality, negotiations could continue.    

"Peter, I can accept your terms," Liu Qingyi said, looking up at him with a measured gaze. "But first, you need to demonstrate that you're worthy of my agreement."    

At this, Peter Parker allowed himself a confident smile and declared, "Join forces with me. As long as the Black Cloud Merchant Guild lacks a true Great Cheng cultivator, the treasures of the Immortal's Remains will be at the disposal of your Green Yuan Merchant Guild!"

Wu Sheng was one of the three esteemed Quasi-Great Cheng cultivators within the company.    

Though not quite on par with Liu Qingyi, he was undeniably a Quasi-Great Perfection Stage cultivator in his own right.    

Even someone of his caliber would not easily fall within ten moves.    

Should Peter Parker manage to defeat Wu Sheng so swiftly, it would all but confirm his near invincibility below the Mahayana Realm.    

Such a formidable ally would significantly boost the Green Yuan Chamber of Commerce's prospects in this venture.    

"Agreed," Peter Parker responded, then turned to Wu Sheng with a calm expression. "Guild Leader Liu has requested our duel, so please, make your move."    

Wu Sheng's eyes narrowed. "Right here?"    

Peter Parker nodded. "Yes, right here. The fight won't cause much of a stir."    

Wu Sheng looked past Peter Parker to Liu Qingyi for confirmation.    

Liu Qingyi offered a reassuring smile. "It's merely a friendly match, not a duel to the death. There's no need for theatrics. We can proceed right here."    

If Peter Parker proved to be as powerful as he claimed, he would be their ace in the hole. Liu Qingyi preferred to keep such an advantage discreet, lest the Black Cloud Commerce catch wind of it.    

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, young man," Wu Sheng chided. "I'm eager to see if your skills match your bravado."    

Wu Sheng couldn't hide his irritation when he noticed Peter Parker's apparent disregard for him, despite being a quasi-Great Cheng cultivator. With a disdainful snort, he moved on to his next action.    

He clenched his fist, and a surge of majestic True Yuan energy began to pulsate within his grasp. It quickly coalesced into a dark brown, flame-enshrouded longsword, which he swung fiercely at Peter Parker.    

Unfazed, Peter Parker simply smiled, raised a hand, and pointed skyward. In an instant, the fiery blade dissipated into thin air.    

"First move," Peter Parker said in a hushed tone, extending one finger towards Wu Sheng.    

Wu Sheng's expression flickered with a mix of emotions. Abandoning any further taunts, he focused intently on the task at hand. The longsword ablaze in his grip vibrated intensely, sending waves of true essence rippling through the air.    

"Boy, prepare to be defeated!" Wu Sheng bellowed, his body tensing for a brief moment before he lunged forward, merging his entire being with the sword as he propelled himself at Peter Parker.
