Without a moment's hesitation, Peter Parker summoned the second style of the Heavenly Emperor Seal into his palm with swift precision.

The very fabric of reality seemed to crumble as the void shattered around him.    

Were it not for the stairway leading to the Immemorial Immortal Pond, with each step existing as a separate, robust space, the clash between the two combatants would have likely reduced the surrounding area to rubble.    

Yet, the aftermath of their collision lingered in the air. The shadowy figure brandished their sword with both hands, unleashing a blinding arc of light that eclipsed the sun, encircling Peter Parker from every angle.    

"First Seal, World's Silence!"    

Ignoring the tumultuous Qi within him, Peter Parker channeled the Heavenly Immortal's power coursing through his veins, deploying the third seal of the Heavenly Emperor Seal with urgency.    

This time, the impact was cataclysmic, whipping up a maelstrom of destruction on the twenty-fifth step.    

Buffeted by the tempest's fury, Peter Parker was forced from the twenty-fifth step, retreating to the safety of the twenty-fourth.    

Observing that the shadowy adversary did not pursue him, Peter exhaled in relief.    

Drawing a deep breath, he regarded the twenty-fifth step with a furrowed brow, his eyes reflecting his bewilderment.    

How could this enigmatic figure possess such formidable strength?    

Peter had honed his skills in the Green Emperor's Longevity Art, and though its rank was unknown to him, it was undeniably of Immortal King caliber.    

The Heavenly Emperor Seal, a legendary technique crafted by an ancient Immortal Emperor, was his ace.    

His foundation was solid, matching even the elite prodigies of the Sword Extinguishing Palace.    

Yet, Peter Parker had not anticipated being overpowered by the shadow on the twenty-fifth step, an equal in rank.    

After a period of contemplation on the twenty-fourth step, Peter Parker re-engaged the shadowy figure on the twenty-fifth step, this time with a sense of triumph.    

He quickly realized something crucial.    

His recent exchanges using the Heavenly Emperor Seal, though ending in defeat, had not been in vain.    

The energy emanating from the black shadow had clearly diminished. Its attacks were no longer as ferocious as they had been initially.    

Peter Parker couldn't suppress a surge of relief. This black shadow was an entity formed from a unique energy source. Despite its formidable power, it lacked the ability to regenerate effectively. Each expenditure of its energy resulted in a slight but irreversible depletion.    

With this knowledge, Peter Parker knew that even in a direct confrontation, he could eventually vanquish the black shadow.    

Boom, boom, boom...    

Peter Parker engaged in a relentless battle with the black shadow, exchanging over thirty strikes in rapid succession.    

Feeling the majority of his Heavenly Immortal energy drained, Peter retreated to the twenty-fourth step to recuperate.    

Once his energy was fully restored, Peter charged back to the 25th step with renewed vigor.    

This time, the black shadow, having expended over half of its energy, was no match for Peter Parker's unwavering determination. Ultimately, it vanished completely under his relentless assault.    

"The journey to the Immemorial Immortal Pond is proving to be exceptionally challenging," Peter thought to himself with a wry smile after overcoming the adversary on the twenty-fifth floor.    

The difficulty he faced on the twenty-fifth level was daunting, and he anticipated that the entity on the twenty-sixth level would be even more formidable.    

Despite his strategy to wear down the black shadow's power, success would be hard-won, even if he repeated the tactic multiple times.    

However, Peter considered that the Primeval Immortal Pond's trials were not exclusive to him. Other contenders would surely face obstacles as daunting as his own.    

Peter was confident that no one would easily reach the Immemorial Immortal Pond amidst such rigorous trials. By exerting his full strength, he stood a great chance of securing a place at the Pond.    

After a brief respite on the twenty-fifth step, Peter ascended to the twenty-sixth step.    

There, a purple-clothed sword immortal awaited him, exuding a strength that slightly surpassed the previous adversary.    

Peter drew the Immortal Monument and unleashed the Immortal Vanquishing Force twice, but it failed to make an impact on the purple-clothed sword immortal. Left with no other option, he retreated to the twenty-fifth step to regroup.    

To save time, Peter Parker entered the Tower of Time and accelerated his recovery process. Within minutes, he harnessed the tower's ability to speed up time by a factor of ten, restoring the energy he had expended. Reinvigorated, he resumed his fierce battle on the 26th step. After six iterations of this strategy, he finally exhausted the violet-clothed sword immortal's power on that level.    

Moving on to the 27th step, Peter repeated his previous tactic. This time, it took fifteen ascents and descents between the 26th and 27th steps before he overcame his adversary on the 27th step, advancing with considerable effort.    

Standing on the twenty-seventh floor, Peter Parker looked up at the staircase. Only three thousand feet of steps separated him from a door of light that radiated mysterious energy waves. "Just three more stages to go," he whispered to himself, eyeing the luminous portal.    

Peter surmised that the door likely led to the fabled Immemorial Immortal Pond. Despite its proximity, he remained vigilant, aware that the final three steps would pose the greatest challenge.    

Undeterred by the daunting task ahead, Peter refused to back down. Confident in his abilities, he believed he was every bit as capable as the elite prodigies from the Immortal Execution Sword Palace who had passed the test and entered the Immemorial Immortal Pond for its transformative baptism.    

Taking a deep breath, Peter Parker levitated and gently landed on the 28th step. Instantly, the area vibrated, and a man clad in white, exuding a remarkable presence, materialized before him. The man's gaze swept over Peter, and he expressed his astonishment, "Young man, you truly are remarkable. To reach the final three stages in such a brief span is impressive." Peter's heart skipped a beat at the unexpected praise.    

It was clear that he hadn't anticipated the man in white on the 28th floor possessing his own consciousness. Peter Parker collected his thoughts and inquired with curiosity, "What do you mean by that, elder? Has no one reached this stage before?"    

"Indeed, you are the first to make it to the final three stages. Moreover, you're the fastest in the history of the Sword Extinguishing Immortal Palace to do so," the man in white confirmed with a subtle smile. "There's no need for further talk, young one. Let's get to it. I've lowered my cultivation level to match yours. Defeat me, and you can advance to the next stage."
