"Puchi!"    

The Demon King shuddered, unable to stop the flow of devil blood from his mouth.    

"Boom!"    

In that moment, Hou, previously a mere foot in length, underwent a startling transformation. He grew to a colossal size, a hundred thousand feet tall, becoming a peerless beast. With a gaping maw, he devoured the Devil King.    

However...    

It wasn't long before Hou seemed to find the taste of the Devil King's flesh unpalatable. He spat out the bloodied figure, his face twisted in disgust.    

Peter Parker, witnessing this, was at a loss for words.    

Clearly, the Devil King, accustomed to feasting on dragons, had developed quite the selective palate.    

However...    

The Devil King had been severely weakened by the ordeal. His breath was faint, a mere whisper of life remaining.    

"Bang!"    

Just then, the hoof of the ancient and fearsome Kui Niu descended. The Devil King, with no time to evade, was obliterated into dust.    

With the demise of the Devil King, the world was rid of devils.    

"It's finally over."    

A collective sigh of relief was breathed at the sight. Yet, everyone was acutely aware that this victory was owed to Peter Parker.    

Without his ability to summon two ancient beasts of might equal to that of Immortal Kings, the Immortal Domain would have been defenseless. The devils would not only have been out of reach but could have potentially wiped them out.    

Having vanquished the Devil King, Peter Parker and his companions scoured the world once more. Assured that no devils remained, they departed the ravine.    

"Little Qing," Peter Parker mused, "the sudden emergence of devils in the Immortal World is tied to its major tribulations, a matter of its very survival. Now that the crisis has been averted, I'm compelled to explore further afield."    

After leaving the ravine, Peter Parker turned to Lu Xiaoqing. "With the Demon Sealing Land in the Longevity Immortal Domain secured and Venerable Sunchaser neutralized, as long as no Devil Kings emerge, there's no threat to our realm."    

Lu Xiaoqing simply nodded in agreement. "Alright, Big Brother Peter, please be careful."    

She had indeed received the Longevity Immortal King's legacy and her power was now on par with the Chaos Origin Immortal Venerable, but she knew this wouldn't be of much help to Peter. The rise of the devils represented a dire crisis that would determine the fate of the Immortal World. Her priority was to focus on her cultivation and achieve the Immortal King realm as swiftly as possible. That was the only way to guarantee the survival of the Longevity Immortal Palace during the impending disaster.    

"Don't worry," Peter assured her with a nod. In the next moment, his form shimmered and he transformed into a streak of light, vanishing into the distance.    

Leaving the Longevity Immortal Domain behind, Peter Parker set his sights on the Devil Suppression Immortal Domain, intent on investigating the Devil Mountain there.    

As he journeyed, Peter encountered numerous devils wreaking havoc across the Immortal World. The chaos he witnessed confirmed his suspicions: the devils' presence had thrown the entire world into disarray.    

Dealing with the devils he encountered en route, Peter continued towards the Devil Suppression Immortal Domain.    

However, upon reaching the Cang Lei Immortal Domain, he paused his journey. A token, given to him by Mo Xuan, the esteemed general of Tianxuan Hall, had begun to react to something in the vicinity.    

Peter held out his hand and the lightning token materialized in his palm, pulsating with an unusual energy.    

"It seems the Heavenly Thunder Hall, one of the 36 subsidiary palaces of the Heavenly Emperor Palace, is located within this domain," Peter mused, examining the token's response.    

He recalled passing through the Blue Thunder Immortal Domain previously, where the Thunder Token had shown no sign of activity. This time, however, it was different.    

"It seems that the sudden reaction of this lightning token must be connected to the significant upheavals in the Immortal World."    

Peter Parker mused for a moment before heeding the lightning token's call.    

As he drew nearer, the token's response grew more fervent.    

Shortly thereafter, under the Thunder Token's lead, Peter Parker found himself before a Thunder Mountain, enshrouded in lightning bolts.    

This Thunder Mountain was perpetually cloaked in countless strands of silver lightning. The energy it emitted was of such a formidable nature that even an Immemorial Origin Immortal Venerable might hesitate to trespass.    

Peter Parker gazed at the Thunder Mountain, then resolutely stepped into its midst.    

The lightning energy was indeed formidable; despite Peter Parker's considerable strength, he struggled to endure its force.    

He had no choice but to call upon the Sky Sealing Map and summon the Kui Cow.    

This creature appeared to have an innate ability to quell the lightning's power. The bolts that struck him seemed to merely tickle.    

Ultimately, the Kui Cow absorbed all the thunderous energy.    

With the Kui Cow's assistance, Peter Parker traversed Thunder Mountain unimpeded. Before long, he reached its heart and discovered the remnants of an immortal palace, shielded by a lightning barrier.    

"So this is the Heavenly Thunder Hall?"    

Peter Parker refrained from having the Kui Cow shatter the lightning barrier to enter the Immortal Palace.    

Upon entering the Heavenly Thunder Hall, he realized that it differed markedly from the Heavenly Profound Hall and the Heavenly Dipper Hall.    

There were no Immemorial Underworld Immortals like in the Heavenly Profound Hall, nor was it sealed by a formidable divine power as in the Heavenly Astral Hall. The entire Heavenly Thunder Hall lay in ruins, as though it were truly a vestige of an ancient conflict.    

Furthermore, Peter Parker scoured the Heavenly Thunder Hall but found no trace of the Heavenly Emperor's essence.    

Having merged with the Heavenly Emperor's essence from two subsidiary palaces, he expected to detect it immediately upon entry here, yet there was no sign of it.    

Doubt swiftly filled Peter Parker's mind. Could it be that this place was not the Heavenly Thunder Hall, one of the 36 branch halls of the Heavenly Emperor Palace?    

Peter Parker's gaze lingered on the token in his hand, which crackled with lightning. Compelled, he followed the direction it indicated. In no time at all, he discovered a matching lightning token within the crumbling walls of an ancient palace. The bond between the two tokens grew increasingly strong until, at last, the one in Peter's grasp soared from his hand and fused with its counterpart in the palace. Moments later, a figure formed from pure lightning materialized before him, emerging ethereally from the merged tokens.
