He then cast a sweeping glance over the attendees in the auction hall and inquired with a nonchalant air, "Danilo Lujan has prompted Young Master Wushang to offer 1.5 million stones. Does anyone wish to top that bid?"    

Mu Changkong called out three times in succession. Seeing no response, he brought his gavel down with a resounding thud. Just then, a soft voice echoed through the hall.    

"I bid one million five hundred thousand!"    

The room erupted in murmurs of surprise at the unexpected offer.    

All eyes quickly turned to locate the source of the bid, settling on Peter Parker. It was he who had placed the last-minute bid. As the rightful owner of the Human Emperor Sword, Peter Parker was resolute in his quest to acquire its fragment on offer at the Green Yuan Merchant Guild's auction.    

No matter the cost, he was determined to secure the sword fragment.    

"Master, I'm afraid we don't have enough Primary Stones at the moment," Xue Qiansha whispered urgently to Peter Parker after his bold bid.    

Peter Parker offered a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I have a plan."    

He was adamant that the fragment would not end up in anyone else's hands. Although he lacked vitality stones, he possessed numerous valuable treasures. If necessary, he could trade some of these to the Green Yuan Merchant Guild for the coveted fragment.    

"Who is this kid, daring to challenge Xue Wushang for a piece of the Immortal Weapon?"    

"That's the guy! Just a few days ago, he was up on the third floor of the free market, going head-to-head with Li Xiao from the Nine Li Immortal Sect over an item. And now he's crossing swords with Xue Wushang from Danilo Lujan."

"Very well," Xue Wushang said coldly, his stare piercing. "If you want the fragment that badly, it's yours."    

Initially, Xue Wushang had planned to secure the Immortal Weapon fragment first and then vie for the Tribulation Transformation Pill. If unsuccessful, he would devise a strategy to reclaim it after the auction concluded. However, Peter Parker's unexpected intervention prompted Xue Wushang to reconsider his approach.    

It seemed highly probable that Peter Parker was one of the individuals responsible for the recent string of setbacks suffered by the Danilo Lujan Sect. Once the auction was over, the sect would certainly not let this slide.    

With this in mind, Xue Wushang decided to conserve his vitality stones and instead bid on the Tribulation Transformation Pill. He could deal with these adversaries later, ensuring the Immortal Weapon fragment would ultimately remain with the Danilo Lujan Sect.    

As Xue Wushang withdrew his bid, the fragment of the Human Emperor predictably fell into Peter Parker's possession. "Get in touch with the Green Yuan Auction House representatives," he instructed, "and find out if the items can be exchanged for vitality stones. If it's feasible, retrieve the item for me."    

Following his successful bid for the Emperor Sword fragment, Peter Parker produced a storage ring and casually tossed it to Xue Qiansha. Inside were two million high-grade divine crystals, a surprisingly hefty sum.    

Peter Parker had scrutinized the primeval stones within the Immortal Breaking Universe and found them nearly identical to the divine crystals of the Divine Realm.
