The white-haired gentleman beamed at the sea of faces before him, his resonant voice filling the hall.    

"This gentleman seems quite formidable," Peter Parker mused, eyeing Mu Changkong who stood proudly on the crystal platform. He squinted thoughtfully.    

If his hunch was right, Mu Changkong was likely a powerful Quasi-Great Cheng cultivator!

Xue Qiansha's eyes widened in surprise as he beheld the Black Emperor Sword displayed on the auction stage.

Peter Parker studied the Black Emperor Sword thoughtfully. It was indeed a fine blade, likely on par with his own Human Emperor Sword, which he had not yet fully restored.

Despite his years of marauding across the cosmos, he had amassed just over a million Yuan Stones. Peter had spent a hefty million Yuan Stones at the free market last time to purchase a copper plate, leaving their reserves somewhat depleted.    

"Let's just see how things go," Peter Parker said, shaking his head.
