The man gazed at Peter Parker with a look of admiration. "The Imperial Prince is truly remarkable," he commended. "To have advanced to the Great Luo Realm so swiftly and to have returned here is no small feat."    

"Senior, it's good to see you again," Peter Parker greeted, offering a respectful fist-and-palm salute. "May I enter now?"    

"Of course," the middle-aged man replied with a nod. "In fact, I've been waiting for you. But before you enter, allow me to brief you on the current situation."    

Peter Parker remained silent, attentively absorbing the information.    

The Heavenly Emperor Palace had once presided over an entire era in the Immortal World, standing as the most formidable force throughout its vast history. Under its dominion were thirty-six palaces, each protected by at least one Immortal King Realm expert. The most powerful among these palaces were even guarded by Immortal Emperors.    

Peter Parker couldn't help but wonder how such a colossal entity that had once reigned supreme in the Immortal World could have vanished without a trace.    

The scholarly man, known as Mo Xuan, was the esteemed general of the Heavenly Profound Hall—one of the thirty-six palaces within the Heavenly Emperor Palace. His cultivation as a Primordial Chaos Immortal Venerable had reached the pinnacle of the Primordial Chaos Realm.    

The Heavenly Emperor Palace's reign over the Immortal World was long-standing.

Take, for example, the Immortal Region where the Profound Heaven Palace, one of the thirty-six branch palaces, was situated. It detached from the Immortal World, transforming into an ancient ruin. All the experts of the Profound Heaven Palace perished inexplicably.    

Moreover, this region became shrouded in an enigmatic Immortal Dao Law. This law prevented the experts of the Heavenly Profound Hall from reincarnating, forcing them to exist in an extraordinary state.    

The surviving experts of the Heavenly Immortal Palace were known as the Immemorial Underworld Immortals, a term Peter Parker and his companions had mentioned before. After hearing Mo Xuan's account, Peter was left reeling from the shock for quite some time. It had never crossed his mind that the Heavenly Emperor Palace, the once-dominant force of the Immortal World, could vanish so abruptly.

The thought of such a formidable entity being erased from the Immortal World overnight was beyond Peter's comprehension.    

Taking a deep breath, Peter asked with a grave tone, "Senior, do you have any idea what kind of significant events took place in the Immortal World at that time?"    

"I don't know," Mo Xuan admitted, shaking his head. "I suspect that only the Heavenly Emperor and a handful of Immortal Emperors are privy to that information. They likely had some plans in motion before the Heavenly Emperor Palace's disappearance."    

Despite being the top general of the Tianxuan Hall and having reached the pinnacle of the Chaos Origin Immortal Venerable level, Mo Xuan was not privy to the innermost secrets of the Heavenly Emperor Palace.    

Peter refrained from asking further questions. With his current level of strength, uncovering the truth behind the Heavenly Emperor Palace's downfall was out of his reach. This time, he had been compelled by Lu Changqing to use his token to return to this place, hoping to leverage it to enhance his own power. If even the Chief of the Primordius Faction's Azure Immortal Palace could leave him at a loss, delving into the mysteries of the Heavenly Emperor Palace's demise was certainly out of the question.    

Looking up at Mo Xuan, Peter inquired, "Senior Mo Xuan, when I last visited, you told me to return after I had advanced to the Great Luo Realm. May I ask why?" Given that this location was the Profound Heaven Palace—one of the thirty-six sub-palaces of the Heavenly Emperor Palace—and that he possessed the Heavenly Emperor Seal, Peter was addressed as a prince by Mo Xuan. "In the past, the Tianxuan Hall was inexplicably exiled to this place. All its inhabitants perished, becoming Primeval Underworld Immortals, and have since existed here in a state of confusion," Mo Xuan revealed.    

After countless years, ancient deities like myself gradually awakened and began to reconstruct the Tianxuan Hall. Initially, we all collaborated to escape this world. However, it had become a colossal prison, and despite our efforts, we remained trapped.    

Over time, the desires of many shifted. They stopped seeking escape, choosing instead to view this world as a separate realm of immortality, aspiring to transform it into a domain of the archaic Underworld Immortals.    

Mo Xuan offered a wistful smile. "Had you arrived sooner, the ancient deities of the Profound Heaven Palace might have heeded your command. Now, I fear they'd rather you didn't appear at all." In the Profound Heaven Palace today, it seemed Mo Xuan alone wished for the arrival of Peter Parker, the prince.    

Peter Parker's brow furrowed upon hearing this. "What is the strength of the ancient nether immortals in Tianxuan Hall?"    

"We became like soulless specters after our downfall, gradually growing stronger in that state. After much time, we regained consciousness, but we're far from our former glory," Mo Xuan explained. "Including myself, there are three of us with power on par with a Grand Unity Immortal Venerable. More than ten possess strength akin to a Great Luo Immortal Venerable. Hearing this, Peter Parker drew in a sharp breath. The Heavenly Emperor Palace was indeed a formidable force that had dominated the Immortal World for an era, its might surpassing Peter Parker's wildest dreams. The Tianxuan Palace alone was protected by an Immortal King and boasted over a dozen Chaos Origin Immortal Venerables—a force potentially surpassing that of the Longevity Immortal Domain.    

However, there was a silver lining. After the Tianxuan Hall experts became Immemorial Underworld Immortals, they essentially started anew, retracing their cultivation from the beginning. Consequently, their current strength was a mere fraction of what it once was—less than one-tenth of their peak.    

If there were only two Immemorial Underworld Immortals, each as powerful as a Primordial Immortal Venerable, he felt confident he could handle them.
