On both sides of the long street, tall city walls stood tall, dividing the city into small fortresses. All the houses inside were gathered within, and only the sound of hooves echoed in all directions.    

Suddenly, the horse carriage was stopped by three flying Demonic Beasts.    

These were the beast cavalry in the Spirit Province. Although some of the Demonic Beast's endurance was not as strong as the horse's, their speed would be much faster.
