At the very least, the likelihood of reaching the Martial King Stage is significantly higher than in Fengwu State.    

It's worth noting that Fengwu State hasn't seen anyone advance to the Martial King Stage in over a decade.    

The few who have achieved this are revered ancestors.    

While the Martial King Stage might be commonplace in the core region of East Essence for the elite powers, it's still the mark of a top-tier warrior in Fengwu State.    

Even for individuals like Bai Ningbing, Chen Yunyan, and Wang Xufeng, who were previously ranked in the top ten on the Profound Essence List, being considered prodigies in a low-grade state doesn't guarantee their ascension to the Martial King Stage.    

But gaining entry into Tianyuan Palace changes everything.    

The difference in resources, martial arts, cultivation techniques, and medicinal pills between the Void Martial Stage, Martial King Stage, and higher levels is stark.    

Such treasures are nearly impossible to come by in Fengwu State.    

Yet, for Tianyuan Palace, which has subdued the five major forces and unified the continent, these may not be as precious.

When Zhang Lesong arrived and mentioned his intention to recruit a few disciples for Tianyuan Palace, many had already surmised it would be them.    

Naturally, disciples are expected to be from the younger generation, as it's improbable for the older generation to be selected.    

The younger ones may have lower cultivation levels, but they possess untapped potential and a promising future, along with being moldable.    

The older generation, on the other hand, might have higher cultivation levels, but they peak at the Martial King Stage. For Tianyuan Palace, they may not even merit consideration, as their potential for growth and adaptability has diminished.    

The younger generation had already surpassed them in many ways. Yet, when the reality of their situation finally hit, it felt surreal, like a dream. The Elemental Spirit Sect, one of the top five forces on the Dongyuan Continent, now had its Elemental Hall well-known to those in Fengwu State. Fengwu State was fortunate to have several of its young prodigies join the Sect and become disciples. These were Murong Xingyue, Lin Xuan, and Jian Chen—the only individuals from the entire Yunchen State and the surrounding regions to have been accepted into one of the five great powers.    

Typically, these prestigious powers wouldn't give a second glance to warriors from ordinary low-grade provinces, where even the hope of reaching the Martial King Stage was faint. Murong Xingyue stood out due to her unparalleled talent. Lin Xuan and Jian Chen, on the other hand, were recommended by Murong Xingyue herself.    

But it was just those two. Others, like Bai Ningbing, Chen Yunyan, and Lei Jueshan, who were also among the top ten on the Profound Essence List, didn't even qualify for a recommendation. This was because Lin Xuan and Jian Chen both had the potential to achieve the Martial King Stage. Murong Xingyue's talent was so exceptional that Emperor Level Elders from the Elemental Spirit Sect eagerly took her under their wing.    

Lin Xuan, in comparison to Murong Xingyue, was even more impressive. Upon his recent return, he had already demonstrated combat skills at the Martial King Stage level, single-handedly dismantling the Yinming Sect, the Demon Force presence in Fengwu State, and establishing himself as the state's most formidable force.    

Jian Chen, although the least accomplished of the trio, had reached the Crystal Transformation Stage by the time of his last return. Meanwhile, their peers, the other top ten contenders of the Profound Essence List, were at the Elemental Sea Stage—a clear indication of the gap between them. Despite being the least of the three, Jian Chen was still among the most elite warriors Fengwu State had seen in a century. It wasn't that he couldn't compare, but that the other two were exceptionally outstanding.    

Setting aside those two, Jian Chen's achievements were what you'd expect from a Profound Essence List Prodigy of Fengwu State.    

The disparity between them was initially negligible.    

Even if he was somewhat stronger, the difference was minor.    

But in just over a year's time,    

The gap had widened to an entire realm.    

And it would only continue to grow in the future.    

The reason for this was Jian Chen's introduction by Murong Xingyue into the Elemental Spirit Sect, one of the top forces on the Dongyuan Continent.    

There, he received training and resources far beyond what was available in Fengwu State, including advanced martial arts and medicinal pills.    

They had once thought they could never catch up with Jian Chen.    

Looking ahead, even reaching the Martial King Stage seemed a distant dream with slim chances.    

Now, however, they too harbored hope of entering the Elemental Spirit Hall or other halls within Tianyuan Palace.    

The Martial Monarch Stage was beyond their wildest dreams.    

Yet the possibility of attaining the Martial King Stage was now within reach.    

And with that, they were content.    

Their excitement was palpable, their joy uncontainable, as if fortune had rained down upon them.    

"There's no need for such formalities," said Zhang Lekang with a smile, gesturing with a wave of his hand.    

An invisible force lifted the four, straightening their stances.    

He glanced at them, his expression unchanged.    

These four Elemental Sea Stage martial artists would have once been invisible to an Emperor Level elder like him.    

The likelihood of them passing the assessments to join the Elemental Spirit Sect was once nonexistent.    

In the hierarchy of the five great forces, any disciple could easily surpass these four in both cultivation and potential.    

Ordinarily, they wouldn't even be worth mentioning, let alone intersect with the Elemental Spirit Sect.    

But with that one person's endorsement,    

None of these were issues anymore.    

Having caught that person's eye,    

While Emperor Level might not be assured,    

Reaching the Martial King Stage was definitely within the realm of possibility.    

These four might not have top-tier talent, but they weren't lacking either.

Given their unique statuses, he was careful not to press them too hard.

They quickly responded, eager not to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could transform their destinies. Missing out would be a lifelong regret.    

"Then go and get ready. We'll depart in half an hour. Once you're at Tianyuan Palace, which is halfway across the Dongyuan Continent, returning here won't be easy. Consider your decision well," Zhang Lekang advised, nodding.    

He wasn't taken aback by their eagerness. Whether it was the Elemental Spirit Hall or any of the other four halls, taking on four more disciples was a trivial matter, hardly worth a second thought.    

"Thank you for the warning, Elder!"    

"We fully understand!"

After responding, the four turned and made their way toward the senior leaders of their respective powers.
