C1352 Tai Chuan

C1352 Tai Chuan

1Watching Lin Xuan and his beast vanish into the distance, Mu Yi felt a measure of relief wash over him. Confronting this enigmatic powerhouse was akin to standing before the Grand Elder of the Purple Cauldron Sect. As an Emperor Level Martial Cultivator himself, he had previously encountered the Grand Elder, whose cultivation undoubtedly peaked at the Emperor Level.

In that moment, Mu Yi couldn't shake the suspicion that this individual might be a peak Emperor Level Martial Cultivator from another land. Yet, if that were true, what could possibly be the source of his animosity towards the Devil Cloud Sect of this continent? It was a puzzle beyond his comprehension.

Shaking his head, Mu Yi decided not to dwell on it. If this stranger bore a significant grudge against the Devil Cloud Sect, then thinning their ranks could potentially save many martial cultivators. That alone was a substantial contribution to the continent, and he hoped that was indeed the case.

Now, with a significant portion of Yi Chang City in ruins and countless martial cultivators lost, there was much to be done. As the City Lord, he had to organize the recovery efforts, which meant a busy period lay ahead. Nonetheless, he was grateful to be alive. After all, life was the prerequisite for everything else, the foundation of a future.

Moreover, it was imperative to report this mysterious figure's presence to the sect. The existence of someone who might be a peak Emperor Level Martial Cultivator was not to be taken lightly, not even by the Purple Cauldron Sect or the other six major powers.

Meanwhile, Lin Xuan had been teleported to another city. Without hesitation, he forwent any pretense of subtlety or concealment. On the Dongyuan Continent, there was no threat to his safety. He instructed his Martial Puppet to no longer hide its presence, unleashing the full might of a peak Emperor Level Martial Cultivator, a force that commanded attention.

Peak Emperor Level cultivators were a rarity across the Dongyuan Continent. Only a handful existed within the most elite factions, such as the Devil Cloud Sect and the East Saint Sect, and they were typically Grand Elders or revered Ancestors. It was highly unlikely for any of them to be stationed at a mere teleportation hall.

The Martial Puppet effortlessly subdued everyone present.

Subsequently, utilizing the teleportation array was a breeze.

No one dared utter a word.

In the presence of such a paramount entity on the continent, all were mere ants.

Should they incur his wrath, he could annihilate them with a mere flick of his wrist.

And the factions behind them would struggle to seek vengeance.

This was a being not even the six great forces could intimidate.

They certainly wouldn't court death by causing unnecessary trouble.

Therefore, Lin Xuan's journey was incredibly smooth. In an impressively short amount of time, he traversed vast distances across the continent.

Naturally, Lin Xuan's movements did not go unnoticed.

He drew the attention of various parties, including the six great forces.

An unknown peak Emperor Level expert might not disrupt the balance between the five great forces and the Devil Cloud Sect, but he was a formidable power they couldn't afford to ignore.

Aside from those at the same level, there was no one on the entire continent who could stand against him.

Furthermore, if he wasn't an ancient being who had been in seclusion for years, it was highly probable that he hailed from another continent.

Who could say for certain whether he had even greater forces at his disposal?

Even the Six Great Forces, including the Devil Cloud Sect, dared not provoke him carelessly.

They could only monitor him closely and act accordingly.

This time, Lin Xuan had indeed stirred the upper echelons of the entire continent.

Time slipped by silently.

Tai Chuan City.

A major city situated in the south of the Dongyuan Continent.

Founded by a late-period Emperor Level Martial Cultivator named Tai Chuan.

After his demise, the city came under the control of his family.

Although his descendants never reached the late Emperor Level, they consistently maintained a presence at the Middle stage.

Tai Chuan City was a premier force on the Dongyuan Continent, second only to the Six Great Forces.

It also served as a crucial nexus in the southern domain of the Dongyuan Continent, linking it to all corners.

In the past, there was always a massive flow of people. However, as the Devil Cloud Sect ignited the flames of war across the continent, Tai Chuan City, which lacked the protection of the other five major forces, quickly fell into their crosshairs. Despite having three Emperor Level Martial Cultivators, Tai Chuan City's strength paled in comparison to the might of the continent's strongest faction, the Devil Cloud Sect, and was easily overrun. Now, Tai Chuan City is under the control of the Devil Cloud Sect. Yet, due to the city's strategic location, the Devil Cloud Sect spared its teleportation hall from destruction.

The nearby cities, now managed by the East Saint Sect and other major powers, also refrained from destroying the teleportation formations linking them to Tai Chuan City, keeping the channels open for potential future offensives. Lin Xuan, however, remained unaware of these developments. After effortlessly teleporting from one city to the next, he arrived at a city near Tai Chuan City and prepared to continue his journey through its teleportation formation. As one of the largest cities in the region, bypassing it directly was no simple feat.

Lin Xuan's conspicuous presence, marked by the peak Emperor Level Martial Cultivator's intimidating aura, caused discontent among some Emperor Level Martial Cultivators from the five great powers. Fearful of his formidable presence, they dared not express their dissatisfaction openly, but they were not above subtle sabotage. They withheld the fact that Tai Chuan City had fallen to the Devil Cloud Sect and even assisted Lin Xuan in activating the teleportation formation, secretly hoping to instigate a clash between him and the Devil Cloud Sect.

Unbeknownst to Lin Xuan, and unconcerned even if he were to find out, he was intent on confronting the Devil Cloud Sect. As for these minor irritants, once Lin Xuan implemented his plans on the Dongyuan Continent, he wouldn't need to lift a finger; others would inevitably deal with them on his behalf. Inside the teleportation hall of Tai Chuan City, the stage was set for an inevitable confrontation with the Devil Cloud Sect's newfound dominance.

After Devil Cloud Sect took control of Tai Chuan City, they stood in opposition to the five other major powers that controlled the surrounding cities. The forces they left behind were quite formidable: two middle-stage Emperor Level Martial Cultivators and three at the early stage. There were even more warriors below the King Level.

Inside the Transfer Hall, a middle-stage Emperor Level Martial Cultivator was stationed. Suddenly, the sound of space fluctuating echoed through the hall. A middle-aged man dressed in linen, who had been deeply immersed in his martial arts studies, looked back in surprise. "Someone is actually being teleported to Tai Chuan City? How intriguing!" he remarked with a sly grin.

This Demonic Martial Artist, who relished combat and bloodshed, found it exceedingly dull to simply sit and oversee the hall. However, he had been given a share of the Demon Aura Blood, crafted from the countless lives taken in Tai Chuan City, which had significantly enhanced his strength. He hadn't fully assimilated it yet, which was the only thing keeping his restlessness at bay.

Nevertheless, he was growing weary of the monotony and craved some excitement. It seemed his wish was about to be granted, as someone seemingly fearless—or foolish—was about to walk right into his domain. He eagerly anticipated the arrival.

Before long, the vibrations in the space grew more intense, culminating in a blinding flash of white light. At the center of the hall, on the Transfer Formation, three figures materialized: a vibrant young man, a nondescript middle-aged man in black, and a blood-red demonic beast.

The linen-clad middle-aged man's smile broadened at the sight of the handsome youth. But his smile quickly faded, giving way to a different expression altogether.
