C1384 Repairing the Formation

C1384 Repairing the Formation

2Lin Xuan, Tian, the Martial Puppet, and the Elemental Spirit Sect's sole peak Emperor Level Elemental Spirit Son comprised the trio and their beast. They, along with numerous servants, took up residence on a High-grade Emperor Level Flying Ship. Zhou Yu Xin and the other late period Emperor Level servants occupied another ship. Four additional Flying Ships were allocated to the many Middle stage and Early Period Emperor Level Martial Cultivators.

Anyone below Emperor Level, except for servants, was ineligible to board the High-grade Emperor Level Flying Ships. Yet, not all remaining Emperor Level individuals could board a High-grade ship. Low-grade and Middle Grade Flying Ships also required the expertise of Emperor Level Martial Cultivators for piloting. King Level Martial Cultivators, if given control, would significantly reduce both speed and power.

King Level Martial Cultivators, Void Martial Stage Deacons, Outer Sect Elders, and Inner Sect core disciples were all grouped together on the Low-grade and Middle Grade Emperor Level Flying Ships. Their accommodations were modest at best, with a single room being considered fortunate. The most one could hope for was a slightly larger room with an additional hall.

This clear hierarchy went unquestioned, as it had been established over countless years and served as the driving force behind the efforts and training of numerous martial cultivators. This time, the task of organizing and deploying hundreds of thousands of martial cultivators was monumental. However, with the Elemental Spirit Hall's leadership efficiently coordinating the effort, the process was swiftly completed.

The sect's longstanding rules and regulations proved effective. Within an hour, all Elemental Spirit Hall Martial Cultivators prepared for battle had assembled on their designated Emperor Level Flying Ships. The ships then ascended, casting vast shadows as they hovered in the sky, while below, the remaining martial cultivators stood watch over the sect, including a few high-ranking and many lower-ranking members.

Among them, the individual with the highest cultivation level was Ruan Zhu, who was at the Middle Stage of the Martial Monarch Stage and served as the Vice Hall Master of the Elemental Spirit Hall. Ruan Zhu, though not averse to combat, could not stand the sight of widespread slaughter. He made the decision to remain behind to protect the sect.

Lin Xuan readily accepted this decision. After all, despite their formidable combat abilities, Emperor Level Martial Cultivators could not significantly influence the overall battle. Having one more or one less made little difference.

High above, Lin Xuan stood on the deck of the leading Emperor Level High-Grade Flying Ship, which was under the control of a Martial Puppet. All eyes were on him as he surveyed the area below belonging to the Elemental Spirit Hall. With a solemn expression and a calm voice that carried far and wide, he announced, "Before we depart, let's ensure our final defenses are in place."

Everyone listened intently to Lin Xuan's words, though they were puzzled about what he intended to do. With a wave of his hand, Lin Xuan released countless white lights that spread across the entire Elemental Spirit Hall. These lights seemed harmless, but the warriors knowledgeable in Spell Formations noticed that each light precisely landed on the various Formation Marks of the Elemental Spirit Hall's protective grand array.

Many Formation Masters were stationed at the formation's heart and eyes. These specialists, including alchemists and talisman masters, were not required to join the battlefield. Their role was to stay back and defend the sect against the Devil Cloud Sect's grand formation. Only if there was a need to breach the enemy's grand array would the Formation Masters be called into action.

The sect's protective grand formation was robust, with its critical nodes and the formation's heart and eyes shielded within a protective barrier. Unless the barrier was forcibly shattered, the Formation Masters' impact would be limited. Consequently, they continued their work, focusing on repairing the grand formation.

However, the spiritual energy Lin Xuan had left in various places had, over the past two days, completely restored the Formation Marks within the Stone Stand.

We were on the brink of completion.

Everyone was ecstatic, regardless of whether Lin Xuan was responsible for the work.

The swift repair was nothing short of miraculous.

They were all hard at work.

And then, with Lin Xuan's final touch,

he successfully interconnected all the nodes and the focal point of the formation.

A deep rumble echoed as the ground shook.

Suddenly,

brilliant light burst forth from every corner of the Elemental Spirit Sect, spreading and obscuring our vision.

When we could see clearly once more,

a powerfully familiar presence enveloped the Void.

A vast, pale green shield, reminiscent of an inverted jade bowl, settled over the entire Elemental Spirit Sect.

It was the sect's grand protective barrier, restored at last.

The sight of the recovered barrier brought a moment of awed silence to the sect.

Then, cheers and jubilation erupted.

"The protective barrier has been repaired?"

"Fantastic! The protective barrier is back!"

"Now, I can finally rest easy!"

"Who would have thought the Hall Master could repair the protective barrier? Incredible!"

"It's true—nothing is impossible!"

"With the Hall Master here, we're sure to annihilate the Devil Cloud Sect!"

"The Devil Cloud Sect, with its inhumane Demon Force, deserves to be wiped out!"

"..."

No one anticipated that Lin Xuan could restore the Elemental Spirit Sect's protective barrier with such ease.

The martial artists were brimming with excitement, their lively discussions filling the air.

The protective barrier was not only the sects' and clans' greatest stronghold but also the foundation of their security.

When the barrier was destroyed, a palpable fear took hold, and our sense of safety vanished.

Even Lin Xuan's unmatched power couldn't quell the unease—after all, he couldn't stay in the Elemental Spirit Sect indefinitely.

But now, with the barrier restored,

our sense of security returned in full force.

To Lin Xuan, the barrier may have been inconsequential,

yet it stood as one of the most formidable and highest-grade formations on the entire Dongyuan Continent.

Aside from Lin Xuan, no other martial cultivator or power could contend with it.

Lin Xuan's presence alone was a force to be reckoned with, a singular existence up to this point.

How Lin Xuan managed to repair the sect's protective spell formation in such a short time was beyond their comprehension. They couldn't fathom it and eventually stopped trying to make sense of it. They simply attributed it to Lin Xuan's vast supernatural powers. Lin Xuan himself was an entity that already existed beyond the scope of their imagination. If he accomplished something they wouldn't even dare to dream of, something that seemed nearly impossible in theory, they were ready to accept it. Countless martial cultivators gazed upon Lin Xuan with eyes brimming with admiration and awe. With no concerns left for the impending battle, their confidence soared.

"Alright, we can set out now!" Lin Xuan's steady voice echoed once more. Tranquility swiftly returned to the scene. Repairing the sect's protective spell formation seemed like a trivial task for him, hardly worth mentioning. The army began its march.
