He was worried that something would happen to Shi Miao.    

He quickly called again.    

The phone rang twice, but luckily, Shi Miao picked up.    

"Dad, what's wrong?" Shi Miao's voice came from the other side of the phone.    

Shi Xiangjue heaved a sigh of relief when he heard her voice. He said, "I'll send someone to investigate this hospital..."

Shi Xiangjue could only hear the sound of the phone being hung up.

He put down the phone for now.    

After a while, when he called Shi Miao again, no one picked up. This time, Shi Xiangjue couldn't calm down. He immediately called Shi Zeyu. His tone was anxious as he said, "Miao Miao's phone was suddenly hung up just now. No one picked it up no matter how I tried."    

"What?" Shi Zeyu obviously knew that Shi Miao had ambushed the base. He couldn't help but worry.    

Shi Xiangjue immediately said, "We have to go and take a look at Meow Meow's situation. Where are you?"    

Because there was a dinner party tonight, Shi Zeyu was still eating outside. Hearing his father's anxious words, Shi Zeyu turned around and looked at the guests sitting around the table. He said firmly, "I'll be back right away. Wait for me at home."    

After hanging up the phone, Shi Zeyu returned to the table, but he didn't sit down. Instead, he picked up his jacket.    

"Everyone, something has happened at my house. I'm afraid I can't accompany you. I'm sorry." Shi Zeyu apologized gently.

Shi Zeyu's car stopped at the entrance of the villa. He called Shi Xiangjue and asked him to come out and sit in his car.    

Not long after he hung up the phone, Shi Xiangjue quickly walked out and sat in the passenger seat of Shi Zeyu's car.    

"Is it still not working?" Shi Zeyu asked as he stepped on the accelerator. His tone could not hide his worry.    

Hearing this, Shi Xiangjue nodded helplessly and said, "It's still not working. I don't know what happened."    

Shi Zeyu tried to comfort Shi Xiangjue and told him not to worry too much. He then sped up the car and soon arrived at the base.    

"There must be someone guarding this place. We can't get too close. Let's get off here," Shi Zeyu said as he turned around.    

Shi Xiangjue knew this too. He nodded and the two of them quietly got off the car and carefully observed the situation around them.    

A mottled building appeared in front of them.    

Shi Xiangjue couldn't help but sneer, "It seems like there are a lot of secrets hidden here."
